Two major players in Denmark lead the ecosystem of the Southern Denmark region: the Health Innovation Centre of Southern Denmark and the Danish Life Science Cluster.

The ecosystem focuses on co-designing customized digital health solutions together with end users.

It leverages unique expertise in translating research and knowledge into innovative and applicable business solutions, with the goal of efficiently meet supply and demand in integrated healthcare.

Some successful projects in which members of the ecosystem have participated include improving home care for pregnant women; applying digital tools to aid and strengthen work for nurses and using computational data modelling to prevent diseases.
